Imran khan, the former cricket player has been chosen as the prime minister of Pakistan.
Following the imprisonment of Nawaf Sherif, the former prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan was elected as the next leader to lead the country.
Imran Khan was born in Lahore in 1952. He was educated at Aitchison college followed by the study of PPE at Oxford. He played for the Pakistan cricket team for a period of time. He had held the role of leadership since then. He was the captain of the Pakistan cricket team when it won the World Cup in the year 1992.
He then turned towards politics seeking leadership for nearly two decades. He found a Party for Justice named as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the year 1996. His long journey of political life has been paid off finally.
Being the prime minister of Pakistan is rated as one of the world’s toughest jobs by the Times Magazine. This is indeed true because many of the lives of prime ministers of Pakistan has been assassinated for various reasons of corruption.
Many leaders are celebrating the victory of Imran Khan. Leaders hope that the issue between India and Pakistan would patch up with the new leadership. Imran Khan has sold his flat in London and had bought a jungle in the outskirts of Islamabad. Now its time to hope for a prosperous future for Pakistan.
