😊 The big year 2018 is now closed into a small heart. The whole of 365 days, every hour, and every moment has shrunk itself into a single world of memories.

So many smiles, tears, fears, everything is gone now. Millions of moments which can bring smile on your lips, joy in your mind, longings in your heart, pain in your chest now wanders in the endless path of life’s memories.

So what if the year ends, so what if you miss somebody, so what if a chance a lost, so what if you regret something, so what if time is wasted??? There is always a second chance. And this end is not just an end, it is a new beginning.

So lets just remember that past is just a memory and never waste our new beginning. Wishing you all a very happy and mind-blowing new year 2019.

Philippines Struck by Earthquake

Philippines was struck by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake on Saturday. The people were safe even after a tsunami warning.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said that an earthquake of 6.9 magnitude has struck the southern Philippines island of Mindanao on Saturday. They had also given a warning of tsunami waves along the islands of Philippines and Indonesia. Luckily, the tsunami waves didn’t struck any island.

Fortunately no serious damages were reported on the islands. People said that the earthquake lasted for nearly a minute. Civilians ran out of their houses in fear, yet, no houses were damaged by the calamity.

The USGS said that the magnitude of the earthquake reduced gradually from 7.2 to 6.9. Luckily, Indonesia escaped from the serious disaster of yet another tsunami in their land. The islands were already struck by 2 major tsunamis this year.

Gaganyaan Project On The Go

Gaganyaan project of sending astronauts on sapce has been approved by the Union cabinet.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has planned on a manned mission to the spacecraft. This project, named as Gaganyaan has been approved on Friday by the Union Cabinet. According to this approval, the government has planned to provide ₹10,000 crore to the research organisation.

The new project aims to send three astronauts to space. The manned missile is to be sent to set 2 unmanned spacecraft in its postion in space. The crew will stay in the spacecraft nearly for 5-7 days.

The trials for the Gangaayan project will begin by 2020 and the main project will be executed by 2022, said the Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasasd.

Triple Talaq Bill

The triple talaq bill was passed on Lok Sabha on December 27.

Triple Talaq is a custom followed by Muslims. According to this, a Muslim husband can divorce his wife by saying ‘talaq’ thrice. Now, according to the ‘triple talaq bill’ this act is considered to be an offence and is punishable.

The debate went on for nearly three hours in the Lok Sabha. After the walkout of the opposition parties, the law was announced by Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

245 members voted towards the law and 11 opposed it. BJP has hailed the law demanding apology from congress for the injustice they have done towards the Muslims.

Salman Khan Turning 53

Salman Khan, the commercially successful famous Indian actor is turning 53 on 27 December 2019.

The actor has decided to offer gifts to his fans instead of receiving one. This he announced in a tweet stating, “Birthday mera, gift aap sab k liye! (It is my birthday but gifts will be for all of you).”

GST Reduced at the 31st Meet

GST of nearly 33 consumption goods of common men are reduced as announced by the finance minister Arun Jaitley.

The 31st Goods and Service Tax (GST) council was held on Saturday. The Finance minister Arun Jaitley chaired the meet along with other members of the council including V Narayanasamy, chief minister of Puducherry.

At the meet the finance minister announced that the council has agreed upon the reduction of the existing GST of 33 items from 18% to 12%. Also few items with GST rate of 5% has been reduced completely 0%. According to this reduction of GST, items of common consumption including TV, computers and auto-parts will be reduced.

V Narayanaswamy announced that congress has demanded the reduction of all the GST rates to be under 18% except for theo luxury goods. He informed that the government has agreed to their demands with an exception of 34 items.

Seethakaathi Review

Vijay Sethupathi’s 25th movie Seethakathi is out on Thursday for the audience’s view.

The movie depicts a different angle of Vijay Sethupathi’s acting with his unique appearance on screen as ‘Ayya Aadhimoolam.’ The movie covers an era of 1950s to 2013 in the depiction of traditional Tamil stage actings.

The movie is quiet captivating with the unique acting style of Vijay Sethupathi and the dark comedies delivered by the characters on screen.

The movie was written and directed by Balaji Tharaneedharan. The cast include Ramya Nambeesan, Gayatrie, Parvathy Nair, Archana and Barathi Raja.

GSAT-7A Shooted into the Sky

ISRO launched its last satellite of the year 2018, GSAT-7A into the sky by 4:10 pm on December 19 from Sriharikotta.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched its 69th satellite on Wednesday from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikotta, Andra Pradesh. This satellite, the 17th mission of ISRO was named as GSAT-7A.

GSAT-7A is a communication satellite invented to connect the Indian Air Force assets together. It will reduce the dependency of IAF on the ground-based control station. It can connect all sort of IAF assets like drones and ground stations, planes, air-borne early warning control platforms forming a centralized network.

GSAT-7A along with GSAT-7 and GSAT-6 forms a band of communication satellite for the use in Indian military. This satellite has an operational lifetime of about 8 years.

IPL Auction 2019

IPL auction for the year 2019 took place on Tuesday. Its been quiet surprising from the start with new players winning a highest lot.

The highest whopping is the that of Jayadev Unadkat. He returned again to the Rajastan Royals with the whopping price of ₹8.4 crore. Though he didn’t have much of the IPL session this year he was on the top demand.

On the part of our T20 star Yuvaraj Singh it is a bit disappointing this year. There was no bidder for him and is expected to come around in the second round.

Other players like Carlos Brathwaite and Axar Patel won a bigger lot of ₹5 crore and is taken to Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals respectively.

A total of 50 slots were assigned for the Indian players in the total of 70 slots.
