AN-32 Aircraft Crash: No Survivors

An IAF aircraft AN-32 which went missing was found after eight days search with no survivors.

The 13 people on board who travelled on the aircraft were found dead by the rescue team.

The aircraft AN-32 is of Russian origin. The aircraft departed from Jorhat in Assam to Menchuka near the borders of China on June 3. The flight lost its contact within an hour of departure.

After eight days of search, the flight was found crashed in a dense forested mountain region in Arunachal Pradesh. A rescue team of eight members reached the spot. They found that none of the people on board were alive.

The IAF has declared its condolences for the brave warriors who died in the crash.
